The installer for m2Advisor is located at:
Download the m2-install.exe file from there and run it to start the installation process. If you are running Windows 8, it may initially say "Windows Protected your PC" and that it prevented an unrecognised application from starting. In this case press the "More Info" link under the error message and then the "Run It Anyway" button. You may also need to click "Yes" if it prompts you "Do you want to allow the following program from unknown publisher to make changes to this computer".
Once the installer has started, there are a couple of questions that you'll be prompted for during the install:
1. password = twickenham
2. Installation folder - leave as the default, but take note of what the folder is as you will need to check something at a later step. Normally the folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\m2Advisor"
3. You will be prompted whether you connect through a proxy server or not. If you don’t connect through an internet proxy, skip this step. If you do connect through a proxy server, enter the details when prompted. Due to there being many different implementations of proxy authentication, it is preferred that the proxy connection to M2Advisor is trusted (unauthenticated).
Once the initial install is done, you will need to perform a further step which is related to Windows security on the folder M2Advisor installed to (from step #2 above). You can refer to this article - Windows Security Settings on Windows Vista, 7+8+10 for further instructions. If you have any problems doing this or can't do it, then contact M2 for further help on this item.

Once that step is done, if you are in Windows 8 or 10, start typing "m2Advisor" from the main tiles screen and you should be able to find the shortcut to run m2Advisor. If you are on Windows 7 or earlier, then you'll need to go to the Windows start menu and go to "All Programs" and then find the "m2Advisor" program group. Within there should be a shortcut to start m2Advisor.
The first time you run m2Advisor, you will be prompted to enter a site pin number up front so it can connect you to the server we have set up for you. The site pin for you to enter will be supplied along with your username/password information.
Note that when you startup M2, if there is an update available it will ask you if you want to update or not. We tend to update several times a month as we develop more functionality.
You can now login with your initial user/password.
Change password
Once you are logged in, if you want to change your password, you can click the Preferences button down the bottom of the screen and there is a Change Password function in there.
Login/Logout
Also note that when using M2 Advisor, you should log out at the end of each day and log back in the next morning, so that it loads in any new clients or data that has been put into the system overnight.
